This was actually taken on Labour Day. Yup, 1st of May 2009. I’m pretty much screwing up my blog with mixed dates, posting old news after the recent ones. Just typical me posting stale news.
Anyway, welcome to Awie and Ika’s wedding day.
This is the groom: cheerful, happy, and excited. Might I also add forgetful. Awie, laughing, as he just realized that he left his wallet back at home. U-turn.
I have this habit of taking a picture in a picture. Fun at times but it can get boring after a few similar shots.
Love the Jawi writing.
Alas, the moment of truth. Look at how intense the Imam is looking at the Groom.
Phew!! Alhamdulillah, it’s official. They’re married.

Back at the Bride’s place, the Mak Andam making a few last touches.
I like the fondness between them in this pic. Awwww…
Everyone seems to be having a great time, despite the hot hot sun. Really really hot. Really. Eyes squinting. Blazing hot. Ok, I think you get the point.
Awie a.k.a the substitute Mak Andam, fixing Ika’s Tiara. Impressive. Looks professional.
Time for some outdoor shots. Ika’s place in Sepang is amazing. The ultimate kampung look. I love it.
These kids (Ika’s neighbours) were our little helpers during that day. Very hyper, as kids should be. Nevertheless, free labor. Woohoo!
Check out the piercing sun. And check out those poor thing right in the center of it. A small price to pay for a lifetime wedding portrait.

Congratulations guys! Wishing you both all the best =)
