Six years ago, Nain and Razia were merely friends. Casual working colleagues undergoing practical training coincidentally in the same department. Lunch time was lunch time. Office hours were office hours. Every word, every glimpse, every goodbye was just as innocent as the next person’s. You see, it was all professional. Very professional.

This went on for a while until suddenly, everything changed. Lunch time felt too short. Office hours felt too long.  Before they knew it, carefree name referral changed into caring “I’s” and “You’s”. Every word, every glimpse, every goodbye, was now becoming more meaningful than the next person’s. You see, it was getting all personal. Very personal.

It was obvious. They were in love. Madly, deeply in love.

And it was just as well. Because if you had the honor of meeting them both, you’d know it’s the real deal. While Nain is caring, sensitive, and good-hearted, Razia compliments him with her beauty, compassion, and laughter. It was only a matter of time before they’d find each other. And as intended, faith had brought them closer through a world of computers and trail of paperwork. A world where they fondly shared their stories, jokes, passion, and even dreams. Trailing all the way to their wedding day.

Only this time, the moment they set eyes on each, they already knew. They knew they wanted every word, every glimpse, and every goodbye to be theirs forever. Forever.

Dear Nain and Razia, it’s amazing how you guys can make it seem so easy for us to love you both as well as your wonderful families. Your warmth and kindness has printed a permanent mark on our hearts. Thank you so much from the both of us. Congratulations once again! And again and again and again!!

Those words perfectly sculpture the lovely couple. As havoc as everything seemed to be around them, they both appeared to be trapped in the same tranquil bubble. They remained serene in the midst of turbulence. Completely oblivious towards their surrounding, they were undeniably comfortable and much in love with one another. So comfortable, it was as if they had lived this moment before.

Only this time, she had henna on her delicate fingers and he had a gold embroidered colored samping neatly tucked above his satiny white baju melayu. It was obvious. They were ready to take their cool and calm love for each other onto another level.

Even when the air became tense as they sat themselves on the trailing red carpet, they still managed to soothe each other with the presence of their love. And even let in a laugh or two. Because that’s who they are. That’s how they are, around each other. Cool and calm. Azni and Fitri.

Their hearts beating as one. She, completing him. And he, completing her.

Dear Azni and Fitri, thank you so much for letting us into your world and allowing us to capture one of the most precious moments out of many more joyous moments in your lives. May the both of you live happily together forever in your divine tranquil bubble and oh yes, hopefully make many beautiful baby bubbles along the way.

As cool and calm as he was, he stuttered a couple of times. The excitement of being a husband was probably too much for him to handle.

Nevertheless, he made it. Taking a breather while reciting some prayers.

And now, the fun begins! Kids. Ring. Kisses. Dowry. Blissfulness.

Welcoming each other into the family. Such a beautiful way to start off as a newlywed.

Ok. So it was a pretty big deal for me. A huge one. For now, I’m in the midst of moving everything into his house, halfway arranging my clothes, and mostly trying to get used to this wifey thingy. I’m not purposely trying to skip the wedding details and jump straight into marriage life. Fear not, but I will totally elaborate more on my wedding infos once I’ve received the official wedding photos. It’s no fun blogging without pics. Besides, what crazy chic wouldn’t want to ramble on and on about her wedding day? Sheesshh!

Anyway, after a whole week of traveling. Non-stop. Seriously, from KL to PD back to KL then again to PD to Phuket back to PD and finally to KL. It was like a roller-coaster ride. Finally, the world stopped spinning and we took a breather as we stepped into OUR (Say it with me, Aawwwww…) home. The house looks fabulous by the way, which is another story. I didn’t know if I was still high from the traveling or tingly from the wedding day but I decided to do the unthinkable. I cooked. Like, I volunteered to wash, chop, season, fry, garnish, etc. You know, cooked and all. Ok, so it was only breakfast. But let’s not lose focus here. I cooked! I mean, I tried to cook.

I can only think of 2 possible meaning to this madness. Either I’m so madly in love with Raja that I attempted to cook. Or he’s so madly  in love with me, he forced himself to swallow that thing down his throat. Which ever way, I like em’ both. I’m totally digging this whole ‘I’ll die for you’ thing. Here’s to more breakfasts to come and hopefully lunches and dinners too!

I met these 2 lovebirds several years back. Back when Raja was in a band. Yup, a Band. Called Premelodic. Erik was the bassist, Bob and Amin were the guitarists, and Raja was the singer. Believe it or not, he’s an awesome singer. Don’t be deceived by him. Pass him the phone book and he will work it. Oh yeah.

Anyway, back then, Kak Azzu and Erik weren’t an item yet. But I remembered how she talked lovely things about him. How she blushed at the sight of him. How much she was in love with him.  And how much she wished they were together. I don’t exactly know what happened in between but alas, wishes do come true.

They’re incredibly perfect together.

Did I not mention they were fantastic models? Extremely sporting. Extremely photogenic. Beautiful.

Asrif met Yulia during their company’s parade where she was holding the playcard. She was truly mesmerizing. From her high cheekbones to her lean posture. No doubt, Asrif was hooked.

Ever since then, he was determined to get in touch with her. After many attempts, he finally managed to find a way to communicate with her. Through Instant Messaging (IM). How sweet. A litle over a year later, here they are, tying the knot. Alhamdulillah.

Day 2, Reception @ Bride’s hometown. Check out the paddy field behind her house. You just can’t find anything remotely close to this in KL. Stunning. I was loving every moment despite the heatwave. Totally worth it.
